Syd is honored to be named an official Ambassador for Guitars 4 Vets. This is an organization that provides guitars and lessons as a form of therapy to US Military Veterans suffering from PTSD. Along with one of his picker heroes, Tommy Emmanuel, Syd and other hand selected professional guitarists do their part to support this great organization.
“When a person learns to play the guitar, the instrument soon becomes their very good friend. When holding it in their hands no one feels alone, or lonely, ever again. I am proud to join forces with G4V and bring this magic to those who need it most. Having veterans attend my concerts and be honored by the audience members will now be a part of every show.
